Successful Restorations

Let Us Help You Get Your License...

Trying to get your driver's license back can be a frustrating process without the proper assistance. If your appeal is denied, you will have to wait one year to re-appeal. If you're the majority you associate driving with freedom; so it is crucial to choose a provider who is not only familiar with the procedure, but educated in the evaluation process.

There are several agencies and independent providers who will do your evaluation, but fail to address the necessary issues crucial to a successful restoration. After speaking to us you will feel confident that you have chosen the best agency to guide you through the process to successfully have your driving privileges restored.

We ask that you obtain your Master Driving Record (MDR) to assure that you have the proper information related to your driving history at the time of your evaluation.

You can order your record by telephone at: 517-322-1624. Payment by Discover, Master Card or Visa is required; you can also have it sent to your address on record or by mail by completing a record request form. This could be a timely process.

The easiest way is to go directly to any Secretary of State office and request your record, which will be immediately submitted to you; upon providing your State ID or picture identification and paying a process fee of seven dollars.

We will assist you through the entire restoration process. It is now necessary to do a urine screen as part of the evaluation. We have made it convenient for you to do the screening at our agency at the time of your assessment.

Do I need legal representation?

Some people choose to have legal representation, but it is not necessary if you are prepared to represent yourself and you have chosen a knowledgeable professional that does your evaluation properly.

If retaining an attorney, consider the following:

It is important to feel secure in any professional relationship, and that your attorney is an honest individual. You would not want an attorney who has a questionable reputation.

The initial consultation should help you determine whether he/she will be responsive to your needs. You should always trust your instincts and have an idea of the attorney’s character after the initial interaction. Did he look you in the eye and keep good eye contact?

You want to know the credibility of the person you are entrusting your life to. A good attorney will treat you well. Your instincts should serve as your guide.

Being able to communicate with your attorney is a critical component.

Questions to ask:

How long have you been in practice?

Are drug/alcohol cases your area of your expertise?

Do you have detailed knowledge and experience related to my case?

Can I contact you throughout my case to discuss any concerns?

Will my calls be returned in a timely fashion by you or your secretarial staff?

Will I be given periodic updates on my case in writing or by phone?

Will I be advised prior to my hearing if you will be my directive or will someone else be representing me?

What will be the maximum cost related to my case?

Will there be any extra fees?

A good attorney will:

Insist that a contract be signed by both parties at onset to avoid any disagreements.

Never guarantee that he can win your case. Don't hire an attorney that makes false promises, nothing is a sure thing.

Be honest and admit the risks associated with your case.

Will show an interest in your case and be empathetic to your situation.

It is important that you feel comfortable telling your lawyer personal information; and confident that he will do his best to meet your needs.
